Born in Cambridge, England I have undertaken many photographic projects, I spent time in India and Bangladesh photographing village and city life. In August 2010 I visited Afghanistan on a commission to produce photographs for the book Afghan Faces by John Casson. One of the images shot out there was selected by the National Portrait Gallery for exhibition from November 2011 to March 2012 as part of the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize. Once again in 2012 I was selected to be exhibited in the National Portrait Gallery during 2013 for an image I took in Delhi of a Road Gang working in intense heat at night repairing the roads of Old Delhi.
In July 2011 an Image I shot from a project 'My British Family Holiday' was also selected as the winning photograph in the Leica Images Contest.
For many years I have been a licensed Premier League and International Rugby Union and League photographer. The images I took have been published in most of the daily and Sunday Newspapers as well as many magazines. In March 2012 one of my England v Wales 6 Nations photographs was voted a runner up in the Professional Photographer of the Year Competition.
I have a deep fascination with people in their natural habitat as well as people of note or interest in their chosen path. I welcome opportunities to photgraph people all over the world.
